Overview

The new Laguna offers anglers unrivalled value. A sleek and stylish ergonomic and low-profile body sits comfortably in the hand, while acombination of innovative design and advanced technologies create a reel that looks as good as it performs.

Featuring arobust composite bodydesign the Laguna is highly corrosion resistant while retaining incredible structural rigidity. This solid based platform houses a bulletproof gearingsystem with gear durability that rivals many mid-range baitcasting reels.

Engineered to precise tolerances the Lagunas gears mesh seamlessly forexceptional power transmission and a silky-smooth feeling on the crank.

With a UTD drag system comprised of multiple carbon washers the Lagunais capable of producing 5.5kg of drag pressure, giving anglers the control to fight large powerful fish. A high strength spool design has the capacityto hold enough braided line for all inshore and most offshore fishing situations. Casting performance comes from the the inclusion of Magforcetechnology,a magnetic cast control system delivers trouble free casting regardless of the fishing situation.

Six ball bearings ensure rotationalsmoothness, while a 6.3:1 retrieve ratio provides all-round suitability for a range of fishing applications. A large swept handle improves control bybringing the balance point closer to the centre axis of the reel, while ergonomic non-slip handle knobs provide a comfortable connection to theangler.

The Blue Backer range takes in shore rods for light.
